Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25, 1942) was an American actress, voice-over actor and writer. Through the more than five years of her career, she collected over 100 credits. A native of New York, Pleshette began her stage career but later began a gradual transition to the screen. The most well-known films she has appeared in are 'Rome Adventure,' 'The Birds,' 'Fate Is the Hunter', If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium', and Support Your Local Gunfighter. There was also a diverse selection of TV roles as well as in TV movies. Four times she was awarded an Emmy Award as well as two Golden Globe Awards. Pleshette was awarded two nominations, and was awarded with the Laurel Award, in 1963, for a film called The Birds.' Her death in 2008 resulted in an award posthumously conferred to her Star along the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
