Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on 17 October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. The actress was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri an character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career at the beginning of 2000. She portrayed her first main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The movie was not a success at the box office. In 2015 she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite each other. The films were not a success in cinemas. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 led her to opt out of films that she was developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to take on bigger projects. For a short period of time she collaborated with Sivakarthikeyan for Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor for Prabhu Sool's Thodari with Dhanush. Her Telugu debut was planned to be titled Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. But, the movie has been being delayed from 2015 with the possibility of release in September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), featuring Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. Keerthy was cast as Vijay In Bairavaa by Bharathan the film, which debuted on the 17th of January, 2017.
